For a Zone-friendly way to “fuel your fitness in fine fashion,” try Nick Massie’s latest: Greek freak salad with halibut.

To get started, gather these fresh ingredients: onions, green peppers, cucumbers, roma tomatoes, carrots, halibut, olives, capers, spring mix, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Start by searing the halibut. While it sears, mix your salad—and don’t forget one special ingredient: “It’s always good to salt your salads,” says Massie, of PaleoNick.com. “A lot of people put the pepper on there, but don’t forget the salt.”

A short time later, Massie is left with a beautiful, colorful salad. Not to mention, it looks like it could feed a family.

“To me this salad is huge,” he says, “but I like it because it demonstrates that if you’re gonna fuel your fitness with raw vegetables, then you’re gonna get a lot of them.”
